any Engineering discipline, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science Minimum 2 years relevant experience (Thin Film, Crystal Growth, PVT, induction heating advantageous) Job Description - Equipment Engineer (Crystal Growth) Maintain the optimal performance of the equipment within your area of responsibility.
This includes:
Sustaining activities:
PM, BM (breakdown recovery), Tool Availability (MTBF, MTTR) Continual Improvement and Cost Reduction Variability reduction primarily through TTTM (Tool-to-Tool Matching) Develop, install, rebuild, upgrade, and/or redesign new tools Work with other organizations (including R&D, Facilities, & Operations) to improve safety, quality, throughput, and reduce environmental impact Provide technical leadership using various tools including 5S, Lean Manufacturing, DOE, SPC, OCAP, FMEA, and model based problem solving.
