Control Engineer

The position requires at least 5 years previous experience in a PLC / controls design and programming role. If you have these skills and experience, we would like to talk to you!
It includes development and design of automated control systems, motion control systems and integration to other systems. The position will include programming PLCs & HMIs, selection of controls automation sensors / devices / components and application of motion control devices. This individual will also participate in machine prototyping / build, machine testing, beta site testing / support, deployment support as well as technical writing for design documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in controls automation engineering with the ability to take ownership of tasks while providing project leadership. This candidate must be detail oriented, methodical, focused and willing to work in a team environment.
o5 years minimum work experience in advanced system design in high technology manufacturing environment.
oPLC programming skills using ladder logic, flow charting or other high level languages.
oExperience in AutoCAD, Skill set needed is going to be Siemens Step 7, WINCC HMI's, with GM eFACS experience and also Sinamics (Siemens Servo Experience).
oAssist Manufacturing and Test Floor departments during development phase of new or special equipment.
oWrite programs and debug of software as it relates to the design of new or special equipment.
oAbility to interface with customers as needed.
oPrevious experience designing control panels with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
oGood experience launching and troubleshooting automation systems or conveyors
oEither formal education in controls engineering OR significant experience as required
oAvailable for occasional travel to support field installations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
